What did we solve?

A large company producing healthy foods was experiencing significant production growth, which caused capacity shortfalls in the existing wastewater treatment system.

Sludge management before

Activated sludge was originally processed by a belt filter press, which no longer met the increased capacity demands and required frequent operator intervention. Another complication was the difficulty of transporting the dewatered cake and the rising volume of solids, which led to higher operating costs.
